My mom's superstitution was that castor oil was good for everything..

 

God... to this day I hate Castor oil  

It got so bad I learned not to cough or sneeze anywhere around my mom.. cause if she heard you.. pow... castor oil

Eeeeeeeeeew ... Castor Oil!  I've only seen it used in movies... "Operatziya S Novim Godom"  very funny... but eeeeeeeeew

And it still wasn't worth the relief to have to swallow a spoon full of castor oil...

мне кажется не стоит сравнивать детей и взрослых... наши организмы уже испорченны нашим отношением к нему... если всю жизнь прятаться от скозняков... конечно организм их будет бояться... если кому интересно подробнее смысл закаливания детей и как их вырастить здоровыми советую почитать Др. вот эта книга главная... "Здоровье ребенка и здравый смысл его родственников" --- там конечно больше для маленьких деток, но здоровьем никогда не поздно заняться.
