Bagel Roll:I may have started the topic, but you definitely "represent" it, down to the definition.
Proudly so!

Sappho: KGBMan:that has to be the single most sexist thing in America. Nowhere else this is an issue. If you want equal rights - put the freaking seat down yourself !
Exactly! If I want equal rights, I should clean dishes after a man is done eating, I should make the bed after he is done sleeping, I should hang his clothes after he is done wearing them.
Why ? you don;t have to. you do it if that's the arangement you have with your man. I would expect equal responcibility in this matters. Say, one dayu it's you , the other it's him who does the dishes.... A man's response: "These things are not bothering me, if they are bothering you, then do them!" Now, that's the attitude of one chauvinistic sexist pig of a man.
How's that ?? If your man don;t care about "clean dishes" and you do , and you don;t leave this man - what right do you have to change his point of view ? How would you feel if he tried to change yours ? If I lift the seat, then I shall put it down. This sounds more like an exercise of "equal rights" to me.
Well, if you put it down, lift it up when you done. that sounds equal to me. Call me a pig all you want, but I never lift or put down toilet seats. I just aim strait

Regarding cleaning the dishes, etc., I would argue that it's not someone's point of view, but simply someone's upbringing. So, if a guy aims and misses, doesn't care about keeping his place clean, wears dirty clothes, etc., I say that his parents failed to teach him the very basics. Since I don't believe it's possible to change someone, educating and teaching a man is the last of my concerns. So, yes, not only I don't have such a right, I refuse to have a right to change anything about another person.

what if lifting or not putting down toilet seat is the only "dark" side of a man ? Everything else is clean, shaven and kept neat ?

If all of the above is true, he'll put down the seat as well

Love cJonquers all germs. If I am hot for a woman, the heat of the moment will kill any germs.
lol
That said, there is nothing sexier than a hot bath and then banging away. For any guys out there that haven't taken a hot bath with your woman - I highly recommend it. Candles, wine, bubble bath - she's in front of you which makes for a nice visual. Pom - I recommend this hot bath exercise shortly after you 2 have used the toilet (don't forget to put the lid down!).
germs are overrated. That's what anti-biotics are for.

Pet Peeves:
A gov't that is letting the middle class slide downhill into the abyss.
People that put themselves first
War. It's everyybody but the soldiers I feel sorry for.
25% of teens having STD's. Makes me feel like I'm missing out!
Cost of living in Atlanta. I miss gas at $0.89/gallon and a nice house for next to nothing.
Drivers doing 90 MPH on a rainy day. If they crash and burn do I still call 911?
Dry cleaning bills. Who am I trying to impress at work?
Consumer products that do more harm than good - dish washig detergants that oxidize silverware; bleach that damages surfaces.
Getting old. Whatever anybody says, every day is one more step towards people wishing you would just die and go away.
Religious people. The more religious they are, the more they think all other religions are going to hell.
Computer viruses. My computer acts like it's slept with every slutty computer on the internet. It's worse than an American teen. Dirty little ***.

James Bond:Pet Peeves: Getting old. Whatever anybody says, every day is one more step towards people wishing you would just die and go away.
In my opinion, getting old sucks for other reasons - inability to do what one was used to do; every day looking more and more like a dried up prune; every day becoming more dependent on other people to help you do the basic stuff around the house. It's depressing as hell! As far as getting old in America, I am amazed at how successful business that build nursing homes are. At first, I thought, what a great idea! However, when I visited several of them myself (a friend of a friend of a friend, so to speak), I found them to be evil. Yes, one can argue that there are many positive aspects when it comes to these care facilities. Nevertheless, the truth is that it's more convenient for children to put up their parents into those homes than to take care of them. It's much more conveniet for the society as a whole to build separate communities for older people than to accomodate their needs in public places. The sad thing is that people die in those places faster, as they have no young energy to sustain their lives, their kids rarely visit them, and their grandkids hardly ever come to visit. The companies that build these communities are making billions as these homes are quite expensive.
James Bond:Religious people. The more religious they are, the more they think all other religions are going to hell.
I have to add this one as well to my pet peeves. Religious people who push their beliefs on others, have no respect for other people's views and consider them to be wrong automatically since these viewpoints contradict what they believe.

Wow....I never thought I'd agree with James Bond....but I do, I agree with all of your pet peeves (well, except one). Scares me! :) I am not even goign to talk about my pet peeves. Most of them deal with our government, and what is the point of complaining about that.
