Looking for Free Language Classes
Does anyone know a place where one can take French classes, preferrably for free..? I know some libraries offer courses once in a while. Maybe community schools. Anyone know of anything specific?? Thanks.

Find yourself a cute French dude. I think that's the best way to learn any language.

my apartment complex offers free ebonics lessons for residents, friends of residents, and local community drug dealers.

Try a local community or junior college. I doubt it's free, but I'm sure they do French classes that you can audit (so you don't have to be going for a degree).
Try Georgia Perimeter...

Hi Alla!
I'll trade ya French for Russian....
I've tutored American & Dutch people in French and my accent is almost flawless... so my French friends say.

Alla, I doubt they have it for free anywhere in the USA. I mean Canada is a "new communist country", but they teach French for free only in Quebec, where it's official (they still teach English for free though... well not exactly for free - they get money from the taxes I pay....:o( ).
If I were you, I would go to "Best Buy" and get a course on a CD. As far as I know thay have different kinds of CDs there (the price range should be from $20 to $100).
You can buy them online as well. C'mon, you're smart enough for self-studying.
Or I would get in a public library, but I guess those kinds of materials are always in great demand.
I'm not a programmer, but I would figure with someone who's better in those things ;o) - there are such things like "Kazaa" or "E-mule" ;o), where you probably can get them as well.

RFI - radio france internationale.
Они, как и другие станции вещают теперь через интернет.
