In my opinion, people who are in a constant hurry, as if they have a battery stuck up their a$$es, are just as annoying as the a$$-dragging slow pokes.

no, i think you misunderstood..  By not slowing other people down, you let everyone live their life as they choose.  Maybe they agree with you totally, but on that day they are in a hurry.  Have you ever been in a hurry? :)   You can't slow people down arbitrarily, without knowing.  Its disrespectful because you are assuming you, with your philosophy, and YOUr daily tasks for that day, are the most important person in the store.. Well, on the original topic.. my list of pet peeves, is a list of MY inadequacies.  All those that i could list consciously, I've already gotten rid of them.

Not saying i now like everyone..  Still very selective and painfully judgemental about EVERYONE.  But it doesnlt cause me any useless emotions like pet peeves.

Following your logic: an obnoxious person by yapping loudly on the phone while sitting next to you on the plane (before the planes takes off) does not disrespect you, in fact, you are inadequate in some way if you can't tolerate his monkey-like behavior. Thus, you must sit there quietly and take it in the a$$, trying hard to work on your inadequacies. Good luck!

In your particular example it would have to be REALLY loud, so people with pet peeves would do the dirty work.   Or flight attendants. While I enjoy the show

If its an example, where something is really bothering me, i'd try to make them stop i guess.  That's not a pet peeve, I guess I associate pet peeves with passive anger and making lists

Not that I don't enjoy watching Sappho and Egor play mental chess.  Sappho is like the sexy smart female version of Egor, and THAT is why I love her so much.

Plus, by using check or cash - you are saving the store 3-4% , they would otherwise pay to the credit companies....
