hey, im brand new to the forums and also JUST started learning the Russian language, i thought i had better since i have Russian heritage and also have a great interest in the country, but firstly i was just wondering if anyone would be so kind as to translate these few sentance's for me, it would be greatly appreciated! :

These are the things i will pass on.

We need to pass the torch and let our children

read out messy and sad history by its light.

This last sentence is kind of hard to make sense of.

ah thats great, thanks alot, the last sentance i meant "read our messy and sad history by its light" not "out", oopps my bad, thanks anyways though
