Мне кажется незаконченным передача теней на левом мальчике. Сама же картина написана в соответствии с композицией эпохи классицизма. В те времена в Италии Рафаэль и Леонардо экперементировали с пирамидальной композицеей.

Ваш знакомый всё правильно сказал, улыбка подсознательно воспринимается как звериный оскал, как азарт во время охоты или игры. И сама по себе она конечно просто улыбка, а вот в комбинации ещё с какими-то вещами, действующими на подсознание, она уже не просто улыбка, а сигнал к тревоге.

Портретисты обычно никогда и никого не рисовали ничего с открытым ртом до современности и в частности до стандартизации американских улыбок..)

Аполон мог законно быть педофилом, потомучто законы вобщем нравственные и общественные не запрещали.. Но я думаю, что он не был. :ь

Вообще я понял, что открытый рот смотрится в динамике, но в статике воспринимается совсем по-другому. По этому у меня есть правило не фотографировать людей за едой, поющих или разговаривающих. В 99% случаев получается ужасно.

I agree that an open mouth (with realistically potraid teeth, especially) is hard, if not impossible to capture. I simply showed a few examples that I found, not to create a counterargument but to see what has been done by the artists.

It is very hard to capture open mouth with teeth in paintings. However it is very easy to do in photography and end result is way impressive. But going back to our portraits how many emotions can be expressed with open mouth comparing to closed?
