See what?  That you were both giggling over the irony while you blasted me?   Ok....

no, I guess i meant that what you are looking for is not that ridiculous after all (who isn't looking not to be stuck w all work while their spuse watches TV), but the very reason this phenomenon now exists, is because of the way these arguments are framed now.  housework is treated like punishment.  A job with no paycheck, that must be scheduled and divided.

It is instead, what you do for yourself and those you love.  with a smile on your face.  And since marriages are not arranged, I do not see what the problem is in finding another human being that shares your values.  If anything its harder for people like me.  Your views are certainly more mainstream.  We, on the other hand, probably sound like old farts.

Can't help but note that the original post was about men's expectations, not the other way around.  Besides, based on what we learned about Leah from the previous posts, she's quite a cook herself.  We can't begin to know what Leah is really looking for (if she's looking).  Right Leah?
