Why?

I don't know: overall imperssion - food expensive and not a good quality, far from greek; not much activities for kids; too redneck-ish.. :( may be had too high expectations; or a too big unorganised crowd...

Greek Festival is not exactly a glamorous place- as one would think of Midtown/Buckhead fine dining.  Eto yarmarka- with all its + and -. 

We go, meet up with friends, meet friends of friends- drink coffee.  Last year were were hanging out with close friends of ours-the guy is a "real", not American Greek,-he loved the desserts and the coffee.  It is hard for me to judge what "real" Greek food is - we went to Avra some time ago ( I was excited-Midtown-Greek Taverna-run by people from Greece) -the dish my husband ordered was not delicious at all- but the place looked pretty trendy- and was expensive.

Rednecks-da polno, prazdno shatajushihsja-in addition to other Eastern European nations.  In any case, we are leaving in a few....

Greek Festival is this weekend.  In May it is in Marietta (unlike the once in October that takes place on Clairmont Road at the Cathedral grounds).
