surely nobody would have agreed to this?

I just got back from a coffee run.  I have coffee at home, but I wanted the espresso shots.  They've been doing work on the condo building next door and some man has been out there with a jackhammer all morning tearing out concrete stumps that were part of the old fence.  The fence area is right next to the sidewalk between the buildings that leads to my back vestibule.

Anyway, as I was walking down that sidewalk with my coffee, the jackhammer man (complete stranger) stopped me.  He asked if he could come in and use my bathroom!  Umm...no!  This is a male, after all.  He can take care of some things outside (lots of bushes) and I certainly don't want him in my home doing anything he can't do outside!

Regardess, there are three convenience stores with facilities within the surrounding two blocks.  Who asks to use a strangers bathroom?  I really seem to be attracted the crazies lately.

    No way, Jose!Confused

some people are like slinkies...... they aren't really good for anything but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

So what did you tell him, Leah?

What other crazies have you attracted lately?  Wink  Oh, and whatever happened to the dog walker?  No puppy love?

Once I picked my jaw up off of the sidewalk, I told him no and directed him to the Exxon around the corner.

I was thinking of the crazy woman who sent birth porn to me via email and of some strange man who keeps calling my cell phone and demanding to speak with Bill.  I keep telling him that I don't know Bill, but he keeps calling anyway.

    Bagel Roll:

Oh, and whatever happened to the dog walker?  No puppy love?

lol... :)  No, not really.  Nice enough guy, but no sparkage.  I like his dogs though.

One other semi-crazy I forgot to mention...  The weather is really great right now, so I keep the windows open (they have screens) for the cats.  The cats love to doze on the windowsills.  Some woman (I guess she lives here) keeps walking past (multiple times per day) and bellowing "Hello, Cat!" at top volume.  The cats don't seem to mind, but it startles me every single time.

I'd suggest keeping windows closed. Or that construction guy may get an idea on good pee spot. You live in such a weird place! :)
