    Russian restaurants in Atlanta

Good question Ilia. I know of 2 restaurants that serve Russian food, Crown Pizza and Verdi. Verdi is located at the corner of Holcomb Bridge and Spalding Drive, its actually an Italian restaurant, but upon special request (mostly for groups, I think) they serve great Russian food. I'm sure one of the Russian newspapers have advertisments for more restaurants. ~~ Destiny is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of choice. It is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved ~~

Russian restaurants in Atlanta - Nikolai's Roof

As Galya suggested, check Business section under Restaurants (http://www.russianatlanta.net/business/restaurants.asp)

All Russian restaurants are listed there with "real names", addresses and phone numbers. As far as I know, there is only one true Russian restaurant in Atlanta -- Nikolai's Roof (althought, most of the food they serve is French).

The other listed there have Russian selection on the weekends only.

As far as I know Nikolai's Roof is not russian at all. It's FRENCH. Very expensive one. As for russian I can suggest Cafe Jerusalem - russian food daily and very good quality. But better try their bucharian menu - manty, lagman (kind of soup - great!) or Israeli shuarma. I usually go there for lunch, but I think it's open on Saturday night also

Nicolai's Roof is Russian by food, not by ownership. It is very expensive and very good. I'm going to spend some time there with my wife on our anywersary " Life - is a beautiful thing "

But any way, none of the mentioned above restaurants (no offense to the owners) can approach an average Russian restaurant in New York, CA or Chicago in matters of quality of food or music selection and prices. Late "Troika" tried to match but ... You know what happened.
